How can myosync help me?

The human body yearns for structural integrity, and it starts with posture.

A balanced or imbalanced relationship between our soft tissue (think muscle, fascia, tendons) and our skeleton dictates how well we sit, stand and move,

which in turn correlates to whether or not we endure

pain and movement restriction.

This concept, in context of the body being viewed as one integrated unit of soft tissue and bones, is represented by an increasingly trending word, "tensegrity."  It is a derivative of "tension" and "integrity," and must be given full attention by all fitness and health professionals who want to produce natural, lasting results in their clients.

Our ancestry provides us with a clear blueprint of what optimal human posture and movement can be, leading in theory to what amounts to pain free living.

It has also taught us that movement training needs to be oriented around our most fundamental human skills: walking, running and throwing.

Unfortunately, daily demands of modern society have

made the critical task of maintaining healthy, pain free movement virtually impossible.  Our bodies' ability to maintain proper tensegrity as we age is now degenerate in nature, inevitably landing us in a state of dysfunction, pain and limitation.

It must be understood that the human body is not a series of separate parts working together.  In truth, as now proven, we are actually one integrated unit of soft tissue and bone, completely enveloped in a single web-like piece of connective tissue called fascia.  Like a wool sweater, if you yank on one thread, the entire structure is affected. An injury to a foot from years back, may actually be the cause of pain in your neck now.

This is how the human body must be trained and treated for lasting healing and regeneration to occur,

yet unfortunately many fitness and health professionals work off the dated anatomical models of the body as a conglomerate of separate parts with individual functions, thus training muscles or treating an injury in a mostly local manner.  Rather,  the entire body's structural integrity must be considered in how it may have contributed to an injury or whether or not a strength exercise is appropriate for someone.

As a specialist in human biomechanics, impassioned

by the effective, repeatable results my clients attain, I am convinced there is no human of any age or condition that won't benefit tremendously from the methodology I employ (via certification through Functional Patterns).

This methodology is the only one of its kind in the industry centered around re-tensioning and  decompressing the body in its entirety, while simultaneously allowing clients to meet their individual fitness goals, reduce discomfort and set them up for a long, active life of both emotional and physical well being.

I look forward to re-introducing you to your body and helping you move forward healthfully in your journey.

I worked with a personal trainer, the old fashioned gym style training, all about weights and core. So many times though I'd be sore for days in my neck and back, and more working out would bring on more of the same. Sure it did help boost my strength and stamina, but at the cost of my back and neck, and for a period of time, my shoulders.

Alex began training me with his new found passion, Bio-Metrics. His whole approach was the much needed technique I needed. You see, I had been in a car accident and suffer in my neck and back for various reasons. And I am currently 65yrs old.

Alex began a whole new approach, working on my entire posture and technique for total body movement that has totally changed the structure and definition of my body, and actually, my mind too on how I stand and walk and lift anything. Being 65 it has been so much easier on my body.

And don't let it fool you, you do develop some strength during the workout, along with a better functioning physique. And when Alex feels you are right, he gets into more of the strength training, the proper way.

I believe he may show a picture or two to show what his functional training can do. If he can help me, with my physical challenges, just imagine what he can possibly do for you.

Just always remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint. You have to want to have a healthy physical body, and Alex can get you there. Good luck
