​Myosync Movement Training, formerly Functional Patterns St. Augustine, is dedicated to helping people learn how to train oriented strictly around the way our bodies were designed to move, obeying our biology. 

 

Using the Functional Patterns methodology, we focus on improving posture, gait, and overall biomechanics to reduce pain, prevent injury, and enhance real-world strength and performance. Our training goes beyond isolated exercises by integrating the entire fascial network through purposeful, technical and proprietary exercises that translate directly to the four functions humans evolved to and should do well: Standing, Walking, Running and Throwing.

 

Whether someone is recovering from chronic discomfort, looking to move more efficiently, or aiming to build resilient, long-term fitness, Myosync Movement Training provides structured, personalized coaching that restores natural movement and builds a stronger, more capable body from the ground up

I worked with a personal trainer, the old fashioned gym style training, all about weights and core. So many times though I'd be sore for days in my neck and back, and more working out would bring on more of the same. Sure it did help boost my strength and stamina, but at the cost of my back and neck, and for a period of time, my shoulders.

 

Alex began training me with his new found passion, Bio-Metrics. His whole approach was the much needed technique I needed. You see, I had been in a car accident and suffer in my neck and back for various reasons. And I am currently 65yrs old.

 

Alex began a whole new approach, working on my entire posture and technique for total body movement that has totally changed the structure and definition of my body, and actually, my mind too on how I stand and walk and lift anything. Being 65 it has been so much easier on my body.

 

And don't let it fool you, you do develop some strength during the workout, along with a better functioning physique. And when Alex feels you are right, he gets into more of the strength training, the proper way.

 

I believe he may show a picture or two to show what his functional training can do. If he can help me, with my physical challenges, just imagine what he can possibly do for you.

Alex Berg is a Human Biomechanics Specialist who introduced Functional Patterns training to St. Augustine in 2020, driven by a desire to make available to the community a results-driven, functional training methodology that respects the needs of our human biology.

His client transformations have been recognized globally, reflecting his commitment to delivering meaningful, lasting change. Alex is deeply passionate about the methodology and works with clients of all ages and conditions, from those in chronic pain to individuals seeking higher levels of athletic performance. Originally from Boston, he has called St. Augustine home for the past nine years, where he lives with his two boys and continues to help people build stronger, more capable bodies for life.
